Junior Gourmand Program
For kids who are busy being kids, but still have a thirst for increasing their cooking knowledge.
The culinary awakening of recent years is not leaving anyone behind.
Kids are noticing what’s on their plates and have become inquisitive about how it got there.
Your home is a great place to launch a child’s cooking education,
but when it’s obviously more than a passing fascination, it’s time to have them train
with the Executive Chef of Moulin, Ryan Luke
These classes are structured to allow both novice and moderate culinarians
to expand their knowledge and learn the skills necessary to create great meals.
A “family meal” is included at the end of each day.
Week One is an introduction to food with daily lectures and
plenty of kitchen time and hands on prep work, great for the novice.
Week Two is a continuation of the basics learned in week one,
with fewer lectures and more hands on experience in the kitchen with Chef Luke.
John Dalton, (a New York native and resident of St. Louis for the past 30 years
and a Culinary Institute of America Graduate and Fellow) will guide the class through the ins and outs
of the restaurant industry and coach each student to get the most out of each day’s experience.
